Memory Issues

At the time, I was in a position where I daily interacted (for eleven years) with close to 70 adult staff members, 500 children aged preschool to sixth grade, 20 parents, 10 fellow administrators and occasional visitors at my school. On the surface it appeared daunting.

When someone calls us by our name we appreciate it. Years ago, I frequented a coffee shop on the other side of town. I spent a lot of time writing and drinking coffee. I had not been at the establishment for at least ten years. Recently, being close to the formerly frequented coffee cafe, I happened to stop in for a drink. As I walked in the door, one barrister said, “Hi Lynn.”….continued next week…
