I Cannot Remember People’s Names…

I was shocked. I was pleasantly shocked. I enjoyed my drink and then headed to the gal who remembered my name. I told her thanks for remembering my name. I asked her how she did that. She explained that it was important for her to remember people’s names, so she had just learned to look directly at the person as she said their name.

She did not let the barriers of remembering win on this one. She was thoughtful and intentional in remembering people's names. I would like to say that I am also intentional in remembering names. I’m usually forgetful. “Hi, I am Lynn. I am so sorry, I have forgotten your name, do you mind telling me?”  I have yet to talk to anyone who does not appreciate honesty.

💕Lynn
