How M.S. Devastates a Life

During the beginnings of my new life, now living with M.S., in the first few years of the disease I went through all the aspects of grieving (shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, testing, acceptance). If you are familiar with grief, you understand that the stages are not in order, nor are they something you want to hang onto and get stuck in.

Some people I know get stuck forever in one of the stages. I knew I needed to fully embrace what I was feeling. I also knew I did not want to get stuck in any of those stages, so I let myself learn new patterns to positively live with Multiple Sclerosis.

I only knew two people who had M.S., the one woman was bitter and angry. The other woman was wheelchair bound and tried many of the “alternative therapies” (bee sting therapy and others). I had no desire to live my new life like either of them.

Find out next week how I learned to live differently with my finances……
