Half the Salary

One of the helpful things I did was to take a budgeting class called “Financial Piece” at a local church. The course helped me to learn saving and budgeting with my finances. Financially living with less taught me a great deal.

       Living with my earlier salary I did not think much about money because it always seemed to be there when I needed it. What is fascinating to me now, is that in living with less, I have more in my saving accounts than I had previously.

      I remember being fascinated with saving money for my yearly IRS taxes. I had not taken part in this filing activity because it was completed by my ex-husband.
