Jerry Makes a Life Altering Decision

…Continuation from last weeks BLOG (read it to get up to speed on this week’s blog)

So, Jerry learned how to eat without many of his teeth in his mouth over the years. If there was food requiring him to chew, he did not eat it. If the food was a soft texture, he ate it. Many meats were difficult to eat.  ….stay tuned for once Jerry is released to read more about his teeth…..meanwhile…

Jerry started visiting regularly with the penitentiary’s Chaplain. He spent many hours talking to the Chaplain about what it really meant to have a committed relationship with Jesus. “So, it’s more than the Ten Commandments, knowing Jesus as my Savior and Lord” wondered Jerry to the Chaplain. It was a great relationship for Jerry, where he could ask his questions with no fear or judgement for the things he’d done in his life.

“Believing in Jesus is NOT a set of rules, like the Ten Commandments, but a relationship with the living God.” The Chaplain said with calm clarity.
