Just fishing around…

I was so fortunate to go on a fishing trip to Sitka Alaska with my father, sister Jill and brother Bob. Riley, Bob’s son, lives there and captains his boat, Outer Limits Charters. I wore a bright pink hat, so that if I fell overboard, it would be easy to see me. Watching Riley at work, effortless and rhythmically casting our lines, securing any catches, all while running the boat amazed me. As I reflected, it reminded me that when we do what we love, it is not a job, a chore, or an annoyance. It is something we love and seem to be able to do naturally, often to the amazement of others. So, on this day or week I hope you will be able to do what you love and live the encouraged life.
