Goodbye baby bat.

…. I put the box down. I then leaned toward the box so I could pick up the bat. Well, the bat had other ideas. He shot out of that box past me, flying like a bullet. While he was tiny, his wings span was 8 to 10 inches. He quickly grabbed the air with his wings and swiftly he was gone.

I was surprised and stunned at the same time. I did not even have time to give him a name. Yep, as my late mother would say “he was moving as fast as a bat out of hell.”
