Diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis

When I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I was emotionally devastated. I soon experienced some of the negative aspects of the disease.

Ending my twenty-year career in public education.

Living on an income that was half of what I was familiar with.

Losing my bladder function when I least expected it.

No longer taking part in social activities on a whim.

Sleeping 12 hours a night, after 20 years with M.S., now, I need 9 hours a night.

No longer being able to take part in physical activities that brought me great pleasure: water and snow skiing, basketball, tennis, jumping, racquetball and more.

I will define some of those realities and how I worked to change my thinking patterns….so next week…read all about it…

…more to come next week…
